It’s been so long since I’ve painted anything on canvas that I found it both enjoyable and cringe-worthy in equal measures. No Apple ‘Z’ here! But, I had a refreshingly messy day of getting back to basics so glad I did it.

Illustration Friday: Stretch
My 9 month old daughter has started crawling and is stretching out to grab just about anything she can. So this week’s I.F topic was the perfect excuse to do this illustration (and it can double up as this year’s Christmas card too…I have become a master at multi-tasking since she came along!)
I did this as a wedding present for my Uncle and his beautiful bride.

My lovely friend Máiréad is expecting a little girl in December and last weekend we threw a baby shower for her.
